Miranda is growing increasingly further away from Inter with a return to his homeland looking more and more likely according to a report from Tuttosport.

During the January transfer window he had the possibility of leaving Inter as Sao Paulo and Flamengo showed an interest in signing him but ultimately nothing came of the interest.

He is under contract with Inter for a further season but having spent the past season largely on the bench and with Diego Godin’s pending arrival, a move away would appear to make most sense if he wishes to continue playing regularly in the twilight years of his career.

The veteran Brazilian centre back joined Inter from Atletico Madrid back in 2016 and has since went on to make 121 appearances across all competitions for the club.

During the 2018/19 season, the former Atletico Madrid man made a total of 20 appearances but was unable to score or assist in 1571 minutes on the park.
