Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is unlikely to stand in the way of Marco Asensio and Mateo Kovacic leaving Los Blancos amid interest from Inter.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Frenchman, who is in his second spell in charge of the Spanish giants, would not block Asensio leaving due to the strength and depth in that area of the team.
Despite the fact Zidane will not put up any opposition, Inter will still need to cough up at least €60 million for the 23-year-old, who can play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder, meaning selling Mauro Icardi is absolutely essential.
As for Kovacic, it is understood that the Croatian is not in Zidane’s first team plans and therefore he could be loaned out for the second season running.
The report from the Rome based newspaper also states that Real Madrid offered defender Nacho Fernandez to Inter but Inter are looking for a left footed centre back instead.
