Antonio Pintus has received confirmation that he will be allowed to leave Real Madrid, freeing him up to join Inter according to a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The conditioning coach will link up with newly appointed Inter manager Antonio Conte and will form part of his backroom staff at the club.
He already has an agreement in principle to join Inter and upon securing his release from the Spanish giants, it is now just a case of him formalising said agreement.
Whilst Pintus has never been part of Conte’s coaching set-up, Pintus was Juventus’ conditioning coach for a large chunk of Conte’s playing career with the Bianconeri.
56-year-old Pintus had been with Real Madrid since 2016 and his contract was due to expire with them next Summer. Real Madrid and Juventus aside, he can also count the likes of Chelsea, Marseille and Palermo among clubs he has worked for.
