Mauro Icardi is on his way out of Inter and the club will use funds raised through his sale toward bringing in his replacement according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter’s management hope to have moved Icardi on by July 8, the day pre-season training commences, and they already consider him away from the club, even though he is still at the club.

Antonio Conte’s favourite to replace him is Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku. Conte is a long-term admirer of the Belgian international, who will cost at least €70 million.

Paulo Dybala may arrive at Inter as Inter and arch-rivals Juventus could perform a swap deal that would see Dybala move to the Nerazzurri and Icardi move to the Bianconeri.

The third player Inter have in mind is Lille star Nicolas Pepe. Inter are one of a number of clubs keen on signing him after his breakout season in France.
