Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan are both at risk of leaving Inter this summer as Antonio Conte prepares a clean-up act in the club’s dressing room.

Tuttosport today reported Conte wants to rid the first-team squad of the bitterness and infighting that jeopardised the second half of last season, forcing the Nerazzurri to wait until the final day to secure Champions League qualification.

Nainggolan was initially expected to be a favourite of Conte’s, having been courted by him while the Italian was in charge of Juventus and Chelsea, but he could leave with the right offer.

Inter’s position is even more ‘intransigent’ towards Icardi, however, with no wiggle room left for the striker to come back into the fold.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio wish to meet wife and agent Wanda Nara in the coming days to seek a solution to the standoff, but it’s unlikely a compromise will be reached.

Conte has decided he wants to start next season with Edin Dzeko and perhaps Romelu Lukaku up front, if Inter can manage to sign the Belgian from Manchester United.
