Former Inter and Italy international striker Eder, has accepted a transfer back to the Serie A and Italy by joining Cagliari, Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

According to the report, the former Nerazzurri and Sampdoria striker, who was sold to Juangsu Suning in the summer of 2018 for reportedly €5,5 million, has accepted to return back to the Serie A and Cagliari, and could be part of the deal that sees Nicolo Barella go the other way to Inter.

Eder currently earns €5,2 million net per season with Jiangsu Suning and according to the Gazzetta, Suning could facilitate a transfer to Cagliari in order to unlock the negotiations between Inter and the club from Sardinia.

Several reports recently have stated that Cagliari want Inter to throw in Bastoni or Dimarco into the deal as well as cash, something Inter are not keen on at all, so Eder could serve as a welcome compromise.
