Antonio Candreva, Matteo Politano, Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino will all stay at Inter next season after receiving the backing of the club’s new head coach Antonio Conte.

Corriere dello Sport today analysed Inter’s first-team squad as the transfer market begins in earnest and announced seven players were certain to leave.

Mauro Icardi was included as one of the players guaranteed to be sold while Ivan Perisic and Radja Nainggolan’s futures were described as being ‘in the balance’.

“Another player on the way out after Icardi is Miranda, who has one year left on his contract but was already pushing to leave last year” the Rome-based paper reported.

“Cedric has been a disappointment after replacing the injured Sime Vrsaljko, while three years of amortisation will help Inter avoid making a sizable loss on Joao Mario should they sell him.

“Inter can’t afford to pay the €34 million Monaco want for Keita Balde, despite his goal against Empoli on the final day of the season, while after two years under Luciano Spalletti it’s time for Borja Valero to say goodbye as well.”
