Inter have agreed a deal with French side Sochaux to sign midfielder Lucien Agoume for €5 million, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri expected to complete the signing last week before late interest from Juventus and Manchester City caused talks to become bogged down.

Agoume will arrive in the coming days after the club ironed out the final details of their agreement with Sochaux.

Inter could include the 17-year-old in their preseason training camp with new head coach Antonio Conte before deciding where he should spend the 2019-20 season.

They could leave him as part of the first team, move him down to the Primavera for a year – which is currently the most likely option – or send him out on loan to another club so he can gain experience in Italy.

Agoume is considered one of the brightest young talents in French football and has made 11 appearances for their under-17 side.
