Inter will struggle to sell Ivan Perisic for more than €40 million this summer with the Croatian’s market value having plummeted in the last twelve months, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Perisic’s agent Nelio Lucas met with Piero Ausilio last Wednesday to discuss the forward’s future, with conflicting reports circling about Antonio Conte’s plans for him.

The 30-year-old is not certain to stay in Milan after a disappointing season that saw him ask to be sold to Arsenal in January.

“Perisic’s summer is going to be an interesting one,” the Rome-based publication said this morning.

“If he isn’t motivated to stay Inter would be obliged to sacrifice another of their key players, while they are already preparing to wave goodbye to Mauro Icardi.”

Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Perisic but there is a limit to how much Inter could realistically ask.

Perisic starred at last year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia but his stock has fallen since, scoring eight goals in Serie A during the 2018-19 campaign.
