Inter hope they can beat Paris Saint-Germain to the signing of Hertha Berlin’s 23-year-old midfielder Valentino Lazaro, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Lazaro impressed as Hertha finished 11th in the Bundesliga last season and will cost around €20 million, providing the quantity and quality Inter are looking for at right wing-back.

Inter’s alternative option is Nice’s Youcef Atal, although he too is being monitored by PSG.

Atal scored six goals in the 2018-19 season and has impressed the Nerazzurri’s chief soucts with his performances in Ligue 1, representing a ‘Plan B’ for Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio.

Inter are also keeping an eye on Real Madrid forward Lucas Vazquez, who could be placed on the market later in the summer but boasts less consideration than Lazaro and Atal.

The Nerazzurri could even make a move for outgoing Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, although they are reportedly only interested if the Bianconeri handed the Colombian over at ‘extremely favourable conditions’.
