Sporting Lisbon Want €70 Million For Reported Inter Target Bruno Fernandes

Inter will have to spend a mouth-watering €70 million if they wish to sign Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, according to O Jogo.

Fernandes played 81 minutes on Sunday as the Selecao won the first ever edition of the UEFA Nations League, beating the Netherlands 1-0 thanks to Gonzalo Guedes’ second-half strike.

Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing the 24-year-old, with Manchester City having withdrawn their candidature after seeing a bid of €55 million rejected.

Sporting owner Frederico Varandas wants to raise €90 million from Fernandes and teammate Marcos Acuna in order to finance the club’s incoming transfer business this summer.

Fernandes scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists for Sporting during the 2018-19 season, including three goals and two assists in the UEFA Europa League.

He has made 11 appearances for Portugal since making his senior debut back in November 2017, scoring once in a 1-1 friendly draw against the United States.
