Inter are not interested in signing SPAL wing-back Manuel Lazzari this summer as the club prefer other players in his position, according to FcInterNews.it.

Lazzari made 33 league appearances for Leonardo Semplici’s side this season as SPAL secured a 13th-place finish in Serie A, providing nine assists.

Inter have monitored the 25-year-old’s performances for the last two seasons, with sporting director Davide Vagnati recently confirming the Nerazzurri had made an approach.

However, the club have put Hertha Berlin’s Valentino Lazaro, Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi and Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez above Lazzari on their wish list.

Inter are known to be looking for a player who can play at right wing-back in new boss Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system, capable of providing quality and balance in equal measure.

It does not appear either Beppe Marotta or Piero Ausilio will be stepping up a pursuit for Lazzari anytime soon, though, despite appreciating the €20-million rated Italian.
