Romelu Lukaku opened the door on a summer move to Inter last night and claimed he has already made a decision regarding his future.

Lukaku scored twice as Belgium beat Scotland 3-0 in Euro 2020 qualifying, but the bombshell arrived after the full-time whistle when the forward spoke to Sport Mediaset.

The striker admitted he was keen to play in Serie A and talked up his potential new coach Antonio Conte, who wants him to replace Mauro Icardi for the Nerazzurri.

“It’s a good thing Conte went to Inter, I think he’s the best coach in the world,” Lukaku said.

“He knows what I think of him, I don’t like discussing my relationships with coaches in public.

“As far as my future is concerned I’ve already made a decision, but I can’t announce it yet out of respect for Manchester United with whom I still have a contract.

“I’m a big fan of Serie A. Everyone close to me knows I’ve always wanted to play in the Premier League and in Serie A, I love Italy.

“United will speak with my agent but I’ve already made my decision and I’ll stay out of proceedings.”
