Antonio Conte will demand hunger, motivation and absolute dedication from Inter’s players as he aims to take the Nerazzurri back to the Serie A summit, according to Corriere della Sera.

Conte signed a three-year deal to become the Nerazzurri’s head coach last month and has made no secret of his desire to win trophies with the club.

The Italian’s no-nonsense managerial methodology was examined by the paper this morning, as part of an analysis into Italy’s managerial changes for the 2019-20 season.

“Conte has no limits and wants absolute dedication to the cause,” Corriere wrote.

“He wants his players to be concentrated at all times, because ‘hunger is vital and motivation can overturn the expected order’.”

Inter will aim to win the Scudetto next season and Conte is expected to leave no stone unturned in his pursuit of glory.

“Conte doesn’t rule by terror but he does ensure nothing is left to chance on the pitch and off it,” the paper continued.

“It’s not only the players he coaches, he takes charge of the club’s management and their communication strategy as well.

“Punctuality and respecting the rules are fundamental for him, and here Conte takes no prisoners.”

Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan are expected to fall foul of Conte’s zero-tolerance approach, having demonstrated poor discipline during the second half of last season.

Conte will likely play a three-man defence at Inter but the paper insisted he is not wedded to any system of play at all costs.

“His only fixation is to win,” Corriere concluded.
