Inter discussed the futures of Andrea Pinamonti and Stefano Sensi with Sassuolo when they met yesterday to finalise the permanent signing of Matteo Politano, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Politano will join the Nerazzurri on a four-year deal for €20 million after spending the 2018-19 season on loan.

Inter and Sassuolo insist there will be no other players included in the deal to lower the cash due to the Neroverdi, but during negotiations they touched upon various other players.

“Politano’s redemption was all but certain, so the clubs had an exploratory chat which included Pinamonti and Sensi’s names,” the Rome-based paper reported this morning.

“Might Inter make an approach for Sensi in the same way Milan have made an approach for Nicolo Barella?”

Sensi has been heavily linked with a move to the Rossoneri in recent weeks but no deal is in place at present.

Pinamonti has two years left on his contract with Inter and is unlikely to be sold permanently without a buy-back option.
