Romelu Lukaku has promised Inter they are the only destination he is considering if he leaves Manchester United this summer, according to Sportitalia.

Lukaku told reporters on Tuesday he had made a decision on his future but did not want to make an official announcement out of respect for the Red Devils.

The TV station last night reported the Belgian had committed himself to the Nerazzurri, having previously described Antonio Conte as ‘the best coach in the world’.

Lukaku’s arrival is nonetheless widely thought to be dependent on Mauro Icardi leaving the club, and there is no sign of the Argentine moving on yet.

Inter also remain hopeful of convincing Paulo Dybala to join them from Juventus in a swap deal involving Icardi.

Dybala has publicly declared he is happy in Turin but the situation could easily change in the coming weeks.

Inter’s pursuits of Lukaku and Dybala have no bearing on the arrival of Edin Dzeko from Roma, which is expected to be announced soon.
