Inter have agreed personal terms with Valentino Lazaro on the grounds of a five-year deal worth €1.5 million in wages, according to FcInterNews.it.

The Nerazzurri must now reach an agreement with Lazaro’s current club Hertha Berlin, who want €22 million for the Austrian international.

Inter’s first offer of €15 million plus add-ons has been increased to €17 million plus add-ons and the feeling is an agreement will be reached for around €20 million.

“Inter and Valentino have had their first kiss and they’ll make things serious by agreeing to live together soon,” FcInterNews.it poetically reported this evening.

“Lazaro wants Inter and Inter want Lazaro.”

Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig have all expressed an interest in the 23-year-old but Inter now have what appears to be an unassailable advantage.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have been following the player since March and are confident of getting the deal over the line, perhaps at the start of next week.
