Inter are expected to sell striker Rey Manaj for €2-2.5 million to Albacete, who currently play in Spain’s second division.

Manaj made 22 appearances and scored six goals for Luis Miguel Ramis’s side during the regular season, playing 67 minutes in their play-off semi-final first leg defeat to Mallorca last night.

FcInterNews.it today reported Albacete are planning to exercise their option to buy for the Albanian forward, who turned 22 in February.

Inter will reserve a buy-back option for Manaj and should formalise the final details of the deal in the coming days.

Manaj made six appearances for Inter’s first team, all of which came during the 2015-16 season under Roberto Mancini.

The forward played the full 90 minutes of the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 win over Cagliari in the Coppa Italia, before making cameo appearances against Roma and Juventus.

Inter are in no hurry to sort Manaj’s future and will take time to reflect on whatever Albacete decide.
