Icardi Could Sue Inter Over The Recent Treatment He’s Been Subjected To

Inter outcast Mauro Icardi could be set to sue the club for their recent treatment of him according to a report from La Repubblica.

The Argentine forward could look to get his contract terminated two years ahead of schedule having been told that he is no longer deemed part of Inter’s plans and not wanted at pre-season training following all of the controversy in this past season.

Icardi was stripped of the Inter captaincy in February and then refused to train for two months due to an ‘injury’ although Inter’s tests proved that he was not injured.

The Rome based newspaper report that Icardi could be successful in suing the Nerazzurri but the chances of him succeeding are in fact small.

During the 2018/19 campaign, Icardi, who is reportedly knocking back every club offered to him as Inter attempt to offload him, made 37 appearances across all competitions in which he scored 17 times.
