Inter will take up their option to turn Matteo Politano’s stay at the club into a permanent one but are looking to reduce the sum they pay by inserting young players according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter and Sassuolo agreed a €20 million sum last Summer and Sassuolo have shown an interest in Lorenzo Gavioli, Marco Pompetti and Davide Merola – three youngsters in Inter’s Primavera who could knock a few million off.

The report from the Turin based newspaper also states that the Neroverdi are on the look-out for a new striker and have identified Inter’s Andrea Pinamonti as a possible addition.

Inter however wish to only loan the Italian youth international out due to the fact they strongly believe in the 20-year-old.

Sassuolo are not the only club to have shown an interest in signing Pinamonti with several other reports mentioning a series of other clubs.

Pinamonti spent the 2018/19 season out on loan at Serie A club Frosinone and scored five goals in 27 appearances for the Gialloblu.
