Eljif Elmas has rejected the advances of Atletico Madrid due to now favouring a move to Inter according to a report from Turkish news outlet Fotomac.

Elmas’ current employers Fenerbahce accepted an offer from the Spanish giants and he looked all set to switch Istanbul for Madrid but former Inter player and countryman Goran Pandev has, as per the report, advised him to go to Inter instead.

Inter have been interested in Elmas for a number of months now and Atletico Madrid aside, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and fellow Serie A outfit Napoli are all also understood to have shown an interest in signing him.

The North Macedonian international midfielder had a breakout season with Fenerbahce making no less than 40 appearances during the course of the 2018/19 season.

The 19-year-old, who is primarily a central midfielder but also capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, scored four goals in 2490 minutes on the park last term.
