Lukaku Has Everything That Inter Manager Conte Wants In A Striker

Gazzetta dello Sport have given the reasons why Inter manager Antonio Conte is desperate for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku to be signed in the Summer transfer window.

Conte is a long term admirer of the Belgian and first wanted him back in the Summer of 2017 when he took over at Chelsea. Following Diego Costa’s departure, Conte specifically requested that the 26-year-old was signed but Manchester United beat the Blues to him.

Lukaku has everything that Conte wants in a striker; strength, great movement, tactical discipline and the desire to play for the team over focusing solely on personal goals.

As per various reports, Lukaku is Conte’s number one transfer target but sealing a deal for him does not look like to be straightforward.

Manchester United are demanding €80 million and are understood to have knocked back Inter’s idea of offering a player plus cash.

Inter do however have an agreement with the player himself over personal terms.
