Inter Can Afford Big Investment Without Icardi Sale If Nainggolan, Pinamonti & Perisic Leave

Inter would be able to afford a big-money signing even without selling Mauro Icardi if they can close deals for Radja Nainggolan, Andrea Pinamonti and Ivan Perisic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Icardi’s intransigence threatens to jeopardise the Nerazzurri’s plans for the summer, preventing them from finding the funds they need to sign high-profile players.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are studying ways to get around the problem concerning the Argentine, as Juventus continue to wait for the right moment to pounce.

“Inter can’t wait for Juventus to make their move so the club has a plan to balance the books without receiving money from Icardi’s sale,” Gazzetta reported this morning.

The Nerazzurri do not need money urgently to meet their target of raising €40 million in capital gains before 30 June, because they are already well on their way to securing those.

Nainggolan, Pinamonti, whom Inter would currently only sell on loan, and Perisic, a player Antonio Conte reportedly likes, would be sold to free up space for a big investment, such as Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku.
