Valentino Lazaro Wants Inter Because Of Conte & Champions League Football

Valentino Lazaro believes Inter’s head coach Antonio Conte is the perfect man to help him develop as a player, according to Kicker.
Lazaro spoke to Conte on the phone last week and is waiting to complete a move to the Nerazzurri, with Hertha Berlin waiting for an offer in the region of €20 million to let him go.
Inter’s qualification for the coming season’s Champions League was also said to be a key factor in the midfielder wanting to sign.
Lazaro has been looking to join a club playing in Europe for a while and it seems the club will turn out to be Inter, barring surprises.
The 23-year-old made 31 appearances for Hertha last season as they secured an 11th-place finish in the Bundesliga, scoring three goals and contributing seven assists.
Conte views the Austrian international as the ideal profile to play at right wing-back in his 3-5-2 system, capable of covering the right flank with his stamina and pace.
