Romelu Lukaku is ‘ready for a new adventure’ and could play in any club across Europe, according to Belgium’s head coach Roberto Martinez.

The Manchester United forward is widely reported to be keen on a move to Inter, but the Red Devils’ €70 million asking price means talks have not started.

Lukaku told reporters after Belgium’s win against Scotland last week he had already decided on his next move, but added he couldn’t announce it out of respect to United.

“We want Romelu to be happy,” Martinez told Het Laatste Nieuws.

“I’m not worried about him, though. He’s ready for something new. He could play anywhere.”

Lukaku scored 12 goals in 32 Premier League appearances last season as United laboured to a sixth-place finish.

The 26-year-old also scored twice in the Champions League as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side produced a stunning comeback victory to knock Paris Saint-Germain out in the last 16 in March.
