Inter will have a right of first refusal on defender Zinho Vanheusden when the club sell him to Standard Liege next week, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The defender will sign for the Belgian side in a deal worth roughly €18-20 million, with midfielder Xian Emmers following him there on loan.

Inter and Standard have reached a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ which gives the Nerazzurri the chance to buy the 20-year-old back next summer if they wish.

The sale will help the club hit their target of raising €40-45 million in capital gains before 30 June, in a bid to avoid all risks relating to Financial Fair Play.

Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez recently told reporters Vanheusden would soon be ready to play for the senior team, capping off a fine season for the centre-back.

Vanheusden was a fixed starter for Standard Liege before a serious knee injury ruled him out of the end-of-season playoffs.
