Inter’s Primavera defender Nicholas Rizzo is attracting interest from fellow Serie A club Genoa, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Rizzo played at centre-back on Saturday as Armando Madonna’s side lost 1-0 to Atalanta in the Campionato Primavera final, missing out on a third consecutive league title.

The defender yesterday told supporters on social media he did not know what the future held for him, but the Rossoblu registered an interest when they met Inter for talks.

The clubs also discussed Inter’s desire to sign Ionut Radu and Eddie Salcedo on permanent deals, with a view to loaning them back to Genoa for the 2019-20 season.

Rizzo made 30 appearances for Inter Primavera in all competitions last season, scoring once in a 3-1 win against Roma on 9 March.

The defender made his debut for Italy’s under-19 side in February, playing 14 minutes in a 2-1 win over France, but was not included in their squad for European Championship qualifying the following month.
