Inter Reject Manchester United Approach For Skriniar During Lukaku Talks

Inter have rejected Manchester United’s approach for Milan Skriniar as the clubs discuss a deal for Romelu Lukaku, according to Corriere dello Sport.

United are not interested in signing either Mauro Icardi or Ivan Perisic in a part-exchange deal for the striker, who has already agreed personal terms with Inter.

Skriniar signed a new deal until 2023 with the Nerazzurri last month and has no intention of leaving the club.

Inter are ‘very far ahead’ in their pursuit of Lukaku but must sell Icardi first in order to make room for the Belgian.

Icardi does not feature in Antonio Conte’s plans for the coming season but he continues to reiterate his desire to stay in Milan.

The forward wants to begin preseason training as normal in the hope he can convince Conte to give him another chance.

Maurito’s future appears to have been decided for him, though, while Lukaku has set his heart on replacing him at Inter.
