Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara may have visited Turin last week amid interest from Juventus, according to a rumour doing the rounds in the city.

Corriere di Torino today reported claims the couple were spotted in via Pomba, a road in the centre of Turin where numerous Juventus players live, although they could not confirm the rumour.

Icardi and Wanda are currently on holiday in Japan but the latter did return to Italy, after taking her children over to Argentina, for ’24 hours of work’ before flying off again.

“Perhaps Wanda’s return included a stop-off in Turin, a possible if not probable destination for the Inter striker,” the paper mused.

“The owners and shopkeepers in that area didn’t notice anything though, telling us: ‘We’d have noticed if Wanda Nara had turned up because she’s difficult to miss’.”

Juventus defender Martin Caceres lives in via Pomba while Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain have also stayed there in the past.

The Bianconeri remain interested in signing Icardi but will not offer Inter more than €65 million and do not want to swap him with Dybala.
