Inter have signed Italian duo Matteo Politano and Eddie Salcedo on a permanent basis, after having activated the option to do so in each of the players loan contracts, by releasing two statements to this effect on the club’s official homepage.

The Nerazzurri released the following two statements that Politano and Salcedo are now fully owned by Inter after paying Sassuolo and Genoa the sum agreed to make the moves permanent.

“FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that the Club has taken up the option to purchase the registration rights of footballer Matteo Politano from U.S. Sassuolo on a permanent basis.”

“FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that the Club has taken up the option to purchase the registration rights of footballer Eddie Anthony Salcedo from Genoa CFC on a permanent basis.”

Salcedo is yet to make his first team debut whilst Politano featured 48 times across all competitions in his debut season for the club, scoring 6 goals in the process.
