Inter defender Andrew Gravillon needs to improve his mental approach to matches if he wants to establish himself in Serie A, according to his former coach at Pescara.

Beppe Pillon took charge of the Delfino during the 2018-19 season in Serie B where Gravillon made 29 appearances, scoring twice.

The 21-year-old has since been resigned by Inter but is likely to be sold elsewhere before 30 June, with Sassuolo linked in this morning’s papers.

“Gravillon has some important qualities,” Pillon told TuttoMercatoWeb this morning.

“He needs to ensure his head is in the right place every time he steps onto the pitch, though. He must improve the mental side of his game.”

Pillon also had words of praise for Inter’s former academy player Davide Bettella, who left the club in 2018 to join Atalanta but also played at Pescara last year.

“He did really well last season and he has a great future,” Pillon assured.
