Pescara are looking to bring Gabriele Zappa, Thomas Schirò and Davide Merola to the club from Inter’s academy, according to Il Messaggero.

Zappa already joined the Delfino on a permanent deal in January and would simply be returning, after Inter resigned the defender on loan until the end of the season.

Schirò and Merola both remain Inter’s property, though, and could join their Primavera teammate in Abruzzo should owner Daniele Sebastiani make a move.

Both players could help the Nerazzurri in their quest to raise €45 million in capital gains before 30 June, as the club look to respect Financial Fair Play norms.

Schirò made 27 appearances for Inter’s Primavera last season as they lost out to Atalanta in last weekend’s grand final, scoring three goals and making five assists.

Merola scored 12 goals in all competitions and contributed three assists, with Roma also linked to the player recently during the club’s negotiations with Inter for Edin Dzeko.
