Antonio Conte returned to Milan from his summer holiday yesterday to get updates on Inter’s latest transfer dealings, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Conte had been spending time in the Balearic islands but flew home to Italy as the Nerazzurri work on reinforcing his squad for the new season.

The former Juventus and Chelsea coach will leave again soon but not before continuing his family’s search for a new home in the city.

The paper suggested he may also have taken the opportunity to visit Inter’s new club offices, which they officially inaugurated on Monday.

Conte will hold his first press conference at Inter’s new headquarters, located at the top of a building in a busy business district, on 7 July.

Inter are then due to spend a week at a preseason training camp in Lugano, before jetting off to Asia for matches against Manchester United and Juventus in the International Champions Cup.
