Fiorentina’s new owner Rocco Commisso has revealed that he expects highly-coveted star man Federico Chiesa to remain with the club for “at least another year.”
21-year-old Chiesa has been subject to intense interest in his services in recent months, particularly from Inter and Juventus.
“I have not spoken to his representatives, but I saw the Italy Under 21 game last night and he scored a great goal,” he began an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
“Unless there is something I do not know, then Chiesa will stay for at least another year. He grew up in Florence, his parents live here and they all love Fiorentina.”
Sky Sport also report that La Viola management are currently considering how they can bring Borja Valero back to the club.
The Spaniard left the Florence club in 2017 for Inter but as per reports looks set to make a return to the Stadio Artemio Franchi side.
