Despite recent interest in his services from Inter, Aleksandar Kolarov has decided that he wishes to stay at Roma according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Serbian defender currently earns €3.5 million a season in the Italian capital city and feels a lot of gratitude toward the Roma leadership and wishes to give his all for the club and honour the remainder of his contract, which is due to expire at the end of next season.

Inter are the only club to have shown a serious interest in him as of late but now it appears that he will play at least one more season in Serie A before deciding where his future lies.

The 33-year-old could now prove to be a crucial part of the Giallorossi team next season due to his experience and newly appointed Roma manager Paulo Fonseca sees him as part of the foundations of his team.
