Supporters, Signings & Mentality – Inter Are Already Feeling The Conte Effect

Inter are already feeling the benefits of Antonio Conte’s arrival as head coach, as outlined by Gazzetta dello Sport today.

The Nerazzurri have renewed 38,000 season tickets before the end of June, despite not having made any key signings in the transfer window yet.

Conte is thought to be the reason for this increased enthusiasm, although Inter sold out their season tickets quickly under Luciano Spalletti last year too.

The former Juventus and Chelsea boss’s arrival has also helped Inter secure their first summer signing in the form of Stefano Sensi.

Inter will continue talks for Romelu Lukaku, Edin Dzeko and Nicolo Barella this week as Conte wants all of them to join as well.

Sensi agreed to join Inter after previously seeming close to Milan, demonstrating the pulling power Conte can have over players.

Inter also expect Conte’s meticulous working methods to pay dividends as they fight Juventus for the Serie A title.

Samir Handanovic, Diego Godin and Dzeko are expected to be his three main leaders in the dressing room next year.
