Antonio Conte has taken Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti off the transfer market for this summer, according to Sportitalia.

Inter had begun talks with several clubs in Serie A over a loan move for the 2019-20 campaign, with Genoa thought to be the closest to securing a deal.

However, Conte has told the club he wants to look at Pinamonti during preseason training before any decision his made on his future.

It is not impossible the former Juventus and Chelsea boss could decide to keep the 20-year-old in the first-team fold for the entire season.

Pinamonti scored five goals in 27 appearances for Frosinone last season as the Ciociari failed to avoid an immediate return to Serie B.

The striker was expected to star at the European Under-21 Championships in Italy but a knee injury forced him to withdraw from Gigi Di Biagio’s 23-man squad.

Italy were eliminated at the group stage despite beating Spain and Belgium in Group A.
