Edin Dzeko’s Move To Inter Is Only A Matter Of Time

Edin Dzeko’s move from Roma to Inter is only a matter of time and will be completed at the start of July, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri plan to build Antonio Conte’s new-look side around the Bosnian next season while Roma want to put faith in Patrick Schick up front.

The clubs remain slightly distant on their valuations for the 33-year-old but the paper assured the divergences are ‘nothing they can’t overcome’.

“There’s no risk of the deal falling through, but there’s a bit of work to do still,” they explained.

“The clubs are in contact with each other. Inter aren’t in a hurry to get the deal done while Roma would like to find a replacement before letting Dzeko go.

“This could all just be strategy from both sides to try and get a better deal, though.”

Dzeko scored 14 goals in all competitions for Roma last season as they fell to a sixth-place finish in Serie A, creating 11 assists.
