Inter are considering the ‘crazy idea’ of a loan swap involving Radja Nainggolan and Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to Corriere della Sera.

Nainggolan is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans for next season after signing from Roma in a €38 million deal last summer.

Inter yesterday confirmed this to the Belgian’s agent Alessandro Beltrami and are studying a solution which could satisfy everyone.

Vidal joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich for €18 million plus €3 million in add-ons twelve months ago, having been strongly linked with the Nerazzurri in previous weeks.

The Chilean earns €9 million in Catalonia, almost twice as much as Nainggolan, meaning a loan swap is the only way Inter could realistically sign him.

Antonio Conte struck up a strong working relationship with Vidal at Juventus and would no doubt like to be reunited with him.

The paper also reported Inter are monitoring free agent Dani Alves after the full-back left Paris Saint-Germain this month.

Romelu Lukaku remains Conte’s primary target in attack while Stefano Sensi should complete a move from Sassuolo in the coming days.

Inter are also planning to meet Cagliari again soon to seek an agreement for Nicolo Barella, who has offers from Roma and PSG but wants to play in the Champions League for the Nerazzurri.
