Inter & Roma Reach Agreement For Edin Dzeko – €10 Million Plus Edoardo Vergani

Inter have finally reached an agreement with Roma to sign Edin Dzeko, according to Sky Sport.

The Nerazzurri will pay €10 million in cash and send striker Edoardo Vergani to the Giallorossi as part of the deal.

Vergani was supposed to join Sassuolo as part of the deal that will bring Stefano Sensi to San Siro, but Andrea Adorante will now sign for the Neroverdi instead.

Inter hope the deal can be finalised before 30 June so they can use Vergani’s sale to help them comply with Financial Fair Play.

Sky did not specify how much the young forward would be valued within this agreement but he was due to cover the cost of Inter’s €5 million loan for Sensi.

It is therefore possible, albeit not certain, that Dzeko’s final valuation will be €15 million, exactly halfway between what Inter were widely thought to be offering and Roma supposedly wanted.

Dzeko scored 14 goals and created 11 assists in all competitions last season as Roma finished sixth in Serie A and lost to Porto in the last 16 of the Champions League.
