Inter are expected to appoint Matteo Tagliacarne as the club’s new team manager next week, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Tagliacarne used to work for Napoli and will replace Fabio Pinna, whose contract with the Nerazzurri expires on 30 June.

Inter are reshuffling their backroom staff following the arrival of Antonio Conte as head coach, with several former Juventus acquaintances moving to San Siro.

Nutritionist Matteo Pincella is due to join the club soon as well after spending two seasons working alongside Conte in Turin.

Conte will begin preseason training with Inter on 7 July before the team move to Lugano for a week.

Inter will play the Swiss club in a friendly before jetting off to Asia for the 2019 International Champions Cup.

The Nerazzurri’s first opponents will be Manchester United, but they are also scheduled to play Serie A rivals Juventus and French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Tottenham and Valencia will complete their list of preseason fixtures.
