Fiorentina will not be able to bring back Spanish midfielder Borja Valero to the club, at least according to the club’s newly reappointed Sporting Director Daniele Pradé.
The former Roma and Sampdoria Sporting Director, told Italian media outlet FcInter1908 that “there is zero room to sign” Borja Valero and bring him back to Fiorentina, when asked outside of Inter’s new headquarters.
Recently, reports have suggested that Borja Valero wanted a return back to Florence and Fiorentina as well as the club’s new leadership wanting to bring him back.
However, Pradé has all but killed those rumors after telling FcInter1908 that the club cannot afford to bring back their former midfield maestro who, if returning, would be reunited with Vincenzo Montella at the club.
Valero joined Fiorentina in the summer of 2012 from Villareal and spent 5 seasons with the club making 211 appearances across all competitions scoring 17 goals as well as making 42 assists.
