Manchester United have rejected an offer from Inter to include Radja Nainggolan in a deal for Romelu Lukaku, according to ESPN.
Lukaku wants to join Inter and various reports have suggested the Belgian has already agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri.
However, United are not interested in any part-exchange deals and continue to ask for £80 million to sell the forward.
The Premier League giants have also declined the chance to sign Mauro Icardi in a swap deal, with Inter desperately seeking a buyer for their former captain.
Nainggolan joined Inter last summer in a deal worth around €38 million but endured a difficult debut campaign, scoring seven goals and creating three assists.
The 30-year-old is thought to be out of Antonio Conte’s plans for the 2019-20 season due to concerns over his erratic lifestyle, which do not meet the Italian’s disciplinary standards.
Inter cannot currently afford to meet United’s asking price for Lukaku and hope they can negotiate the fee down.
