Inter will present Cagliari a new offer over the next few days worth €43 million, in order to wrap up the transfer of young Italian international midfielder Nicolo Barella, Italian broadcaster SportItalia’s transfer market expert Alfredo Pedullá reports.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri have made an offer to Cagliari of €35 million with an additional €8 million to be paid out in easily attained add-ons, which in total comes very close to the €45 million price tag that the club from Sardinia have slapped on their star player.

Furthermore, according to the report, Inter are also prepared to include young Italian left fullback Federico Dimarco as well into the offer to seal the deal.

Barella, who came up through the ranks at Cagliari, has so far featured 112 times across all competitions scoring 7 goals in the process.

The youngster was part of the U21 Italy team that were knocked out of the UEFA U21 European Championship last week but has already won 8 caps with the senior Italy side, scoring twice in the process.
