Antonio Conte took centre stage at Inter’s offices yesterday as the club held a four-hour transfer summit with agent Federico Pastorello, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Conte wants to remain informed at all times on the Nerazzurri’s transfer dealings and led a lot of the discussion, at which president Steven Zhang was also present.
Beppe Marotta, Alessandro Antonello, Piero Ausilio and Gabriele Oriali were all in attendance as well as Inter aimed to sped up their movements in the market.
Conte was ‘curious’ to find out what Inter’s plans were and ‘took note of the important investments on the horizon’.
Gazzetta reported a couple of weeks ago that the former Juventus and Chelsea boss wanted to be ‘fully immersed’ in all things related to Inter, and this provided further proof.
Inter are hoping to complete their first signings of the summer very soon, with deals for Valentino Lazaro and Stefano Sensi lined up.
