Genoa remain strongly interested in signing Inter forward Andrea Pinamonti on a permanent deal, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Grifone’s new head coach Aurelio Andreazzoli is a big admirer of the Italian, who starred at last month’s FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Poland.

Inter are widely reported to be against the idea of selling Pinamonti permanently, with yesterday’s papers stating Antonio Conte wanted to try him out in preseason.

However, Sky Sport have suggested the 20-year-old could be sold before Sunday should Inter urgently need a capital gain in their bid to respect Financial Fair Play.

Inter and Genoa are also looking to do a deal together for 17-year-old centre-back Bruno Amione, who plays for Belgrano in Argentina.

Genoa have offered €5 million to bring him to Italy and their proposal is being evaluated at the moment.

Amione would not arrive until January in any case given he has yet to become an adult.
