Radja Nainggolan could be set for a surprise loan move to Torino, according to La Repubblica.

Inter’s chief executive Beppe Marotta spent the entire day in Turin yesterday as he tried to move Mauro Icardi closer to joining Juventus.

Marotta also wants to send Nainggolan out on loan, though, leading the paper to talk of interest from the Granata.

Nainggolan made 36 appearances in all competitions last season after joining Inter from Roma, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.

Inter want Icardi and Nainggolan out of the club after deciding they do not meet the professional standards new head coach Antonio Conte will impose.

Neither player appears to have many offers on the table, though, making the club’s job harder as they look to line up replacements.

Romelu Lukaku could replace Icardi if he goes to Juve while Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella may be seen as a natural understudy to Nainggolan.
