Inter full-back Dalbert is one of three players Lyon are monitoring as potential replacements for Ferland Mendy, according to L’Equipe.

Mendy joined Real Madrid for €48 million earlier this month and the French club must now decide who will fill the vacancy at left-back.

Lyon have made an unspecified offer for Lille’s Malian Youssouf Koné and are in talks with Filipe Luis, whose contract with Atletico Madrid will expire on Sunday.

Dalbert is the other option they are considering, with reports elsewhere of an offer worth €18 million last night.

The Brazilian joined Inter for more than €20 million in 2017, having impressed while playing in a 3-5-2 system for Ligue 1 outfit Nice.

His two seasons with the Nerazzurri have proved a huge disappointment, though, after being presented to supporters as the solution to Inter’s full-back problems.

Dalbert made just 11 appearances in Serie A last season, providing one assists in a 2-0 win over Cagliari in September.
