The rumored swap of Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan with FC Barcelona’s Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal, has been deemed as impossible by Catalonia based newspaper Sport.

According to the report, the deal makes no financial sense as the former Bayern Munich and Juventus man Arturo Vidal’s yearly salary, is twice as high as the former Roma and Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan’s salary.

Furthermore, according to the report, despite the chance of being reunited with Antonio Conte with whom he spent 3 successful season with whilst they were both at Juventus, the Chilean midfielder has no plans and no intentions to leave Barcelona, and nothing seems able to change that with Vidal having recently refused a big money transfer to China.

Vidal joined Juventus in the summer of 2011 for a reported fee of €10.5 million and was an instant success in Antonio Conte’s system which saw the Bianconero go through the entire season undefeated.
