Inter will complete a deal to sign midfielder Valentino Lazaro from Hertha Berlin next week, according to FcInter1908.

The clubs are moving ever closer in their valuations for the 23-year-old and the green light is due to arrive in the coming days.

Inter’s offer remains slightly short of what Hertha are asking for but there seems no doubt Lazaro will put pen to paper on his move soon.

The Austrian international will sign a five-year deal and begin preseason training with Antonio Conte thereafter.

Hertha have not definitively accepted Inter’s proposal but there is no chance of any other players being included in the deal.

The Nerazzurri have pursued various part-exchange deals this summer in a bid to offload unwanted players, most notably with Manchester United during talks for Romelu Lukaku.

This is not expected to happen in negotiations for Lazaro, though, who will soon become Inter’s new wing-back for Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
